Workshop completed successfully

The Polish and German students had six exciting and exhausting days. From 4th to 11 October 2009, German scriptwriters – students of the German Institute for Literature in Leipzig – cooperated with students of the National Academy for Film, TV and Theatre “Leon Schiller” in Łódź (Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Filmowa, Telewizyjna i Teatralna im Leona Schillera w Łodzi – PWSFTiTv) on joint short film projects.
The six young scriptwriters from Germany had brought along their scripts. After their arrival in Łódź, they presented their scripts and soon there were six teams, each of them consisting of a German script writer, a Polish director and a Polish producer, which worked on their respective scripts. The artistic directors of the workshop were Robert Glinski (Director of the Film Academy in Łódź) and Cathy de Haan (German Institute for Literature in Leipzig). In the course of the week-long workshop, the students were able to discuss their scripts and ideas with other professionals as well.
